GANGA AND TREK
DAY 01 Arrive Delhi
Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 02
Delhi
Breakfast
at the hotel. Full day city tour of Old and New Delhi. Overnight at the
hotel.
DAY 03
Delhi - Rishikesh
Breakfast
at the hotel. Morning drive to Rishikesh enroute visiting Haridwar. On
arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY
04 Rishikesh - Uttarkashi
Breakfast
at the hotel. Morning visit Rishikesh and later drive to Uttarkashi. On
arrival check-in at the camp. Overnight at the camp.
DAY 05 Uttarkashi - Gangotri
Breakfast at the camp. Drive is along the right bank of Bhagirathi
through a narrow & high gorge. The Ganga finds her source near Gangotri
at Gaumukh, about 19 kms away in the Gangotri glacier. On arrival
check-in at the camp. Overnight at the camp.
DAY
06 Gangotri – Bhujbas – Trek
Breakfast at the
camp. Trek to Bhujbas a distance of 16 kms. Overnight in camp.
DAY 07 Bhujbas - Gaumukh- Tapovan
Breakfast at the camp. Trek to Tapovan. Crossing Gangotri glacier at
Gaumukh. Overnight in the camp.
DAY 08 Tapovan – Bhujbas - Trek
Breakfast at the camp. Afternoon trek 8 kms to Bhujbas. Overnight in
the camp.
DAY
09 Bhujbas – Gangotri - Trek
Breakfast
at the camp. Drive from Gangotri to Uttarkashi. Overnight at the camp.
DAY 10 Uttarkashi - Rishikesh
Breakfast at the camp. Morning drive to Rishikesh . On arrival
check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 11 Rishikesh -
Delhi
Breakfast
at the hotel. Morning drive to Delhi . On arrival checkin at the hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.
DAY
12 Leave Delhi
Breakfast
at the hotel. Later transfer to the airport to board the flight for
onward destination.
