‘Tourism Day’ on January 24

 

MANGALORE : Bharathi Tourism Development Cooperative Ltd., will be organising a cultural programme, “Jago Hindustani”, in Town Hall here on January 24 at 5:30 p.m. as part of celebrating Indian Tourism Day. About 25 artistes from ‘Swara Ninaada Sangeeth Manch’ of Kolhapur will present patriotic songs for three hours. Addressing press persons here recently, Konkodi Padmanabha, chairman of the company, said it would be an attempt at kindling patriotism and brotherhood among people and creating awareness on Indian Tourism Day also.
